About the Workshop
We are on the cusp of the 4th digital revolution that will impact the world in unprecedented ways, rearranging our future world and the world of work, professions and business in ways that both excite us and fill us with apprehension. Utopian and dystopian visions are put forward with some heralding a bright future and others warning of impending doom.
To gain an informed insight on how ready we all are for what is ahead of us, please join us for a one day conference and workshop, with Adina Tarry, AI Strategist and Professional Coach, Business Psychologist and Visiting lecturer.
https://www.linkedin.com/today/author/adinatarry The decades to come are going to be defined by ongoing adaptation and change, across all aspects of life and work for individuals, businesses and governments alike.
Government and governance are being challenged by depletion of natural resources, pollution and need for recycling, climate change and security, on a borderless global scale.
Businesses are under pressure to redesign their operations and adapt to increased pressures from markets, consumers and their own employees, with new generational expectations asking for reform and another way of doing business.
Jobs, professions and skills are changing faster than we can imagine, education is struggling to keep pace with reality, whilst entire categories of jobs disappear replaced by jobs for which there are no sufficient skills in the market.
Individuals are under pressure to perform in a world that is different every day, adapt and learn new skills, use technology, be more productive, pack more activity in their personal and working lives and redefine their careers every few years, to keep pace, stay relevant and adapt to a brave new world.
Our working lives, whether at the beginning, in full expansion or closer to retirement, will never be the same again and the cradle to pension clear path is no longer a reality.
We will all have to reflect, adapt, design our own careers and remain relevant for the duration of our working life and after that, in pro bono work and transfer of wisdom that we may choose to embrace.
